Why Re-Trac?
The Logan County Solid Waste Management District is required to gather recycling and waste diversion data (diverting waste from landfills) within the District and compile an annual report for the State of Ohio.
Data from this District is combined with all Districts in Ohio and used to formulate future plans to support existing and new services to increase recycling and waste diversion.
Beginning in 2008 the District is using a web based data collection system developed by Re-Trac to collect basic data.
Why You Should Know
Every commercial and industrial business in Logan County will be asked to participate.
The web-based survey is one page long and fairly easy to navigate and answer the questions.
How to Register
To register from the web, go to: http://survey.re-trac.com/logan_cii.
Registration requires the name of the entity submitting the data, name of the person submitting the data, and establishing a password. The password is your entrée to your data.
How To Complete the Online Survey
Once registered, the form can be completed following the online questions in about 20 minutes.
If you have questions, forget your password, or need any assistance please contact the District Office. Contact names and email addresses are also on the form.
Data entered into the system by pressing the submit button cannot be changed except by contacting the District Office. The only persons who can access the data are District personnel who prepare the State report.
No company is identified in the report to the State and no specific data is association with any specific company in the report. Corporate anonymity is assured by the method of collection and by District confidentiality policy.
