The Keep Logan County Beautiful Committee
The Keep Logan County Beautiful Committee, known as KLCB, is an informal coalition of industrial and commercial engineers and managers with governmental workers and concerned citizens focused on these and other environmental concerns:
recycling, resource reduction, energy conservation, energy alternatives, conservation, zero waste strategies, green buildings, green purchasing, and greenhouse gas reduction.
Meeting Time & Locations
KLCB meets quarterly with the meeting moving to a different business host location each meeting.
Committee Activities
Meetings include a luncheon, brief business meeting, and a program focused on a current environmental topic.
KLCB is an adopt-a-road participant with members joining to clean a two mile stretch of Ludlow Road from Blue Jacket Park south.
KLCB sponsors a high school scholarship annually.
KLCB hosts an annual recognition dinner in May to honor scholarship winners and others who have provided leadership and dedication to the recycling efforts in the county.
