Recycled Products Grant Program
PURPOSE. To encourage the use of recycled products and to support local governmental organizations.
SPONSORED BY. The Logan County Solid Waste District.
WHO CAN APPLY. Local governmental organizations.
GRANT AWARD. Each year two awards are generally made, on a first come, first served basis. Each award is up to $2,500.
GUIDELINES. The District will fund up to one half of the cost of a recycled content item with up to $2,500 in funding, with the applicant picking up the other half of the cost.
HOW TO APPLY. Write a letter to the District Coordinator describing:
- which governmental organization is seeking funding
- describe the item or items to be purchased
- provide the total budget anticipated to complete the project.
