Clean Sweep LogoGet wet! Get dirty! Get involved! The annual Clean Sweep of the Great Miami River, from Indian Lake to the Ohio River is set for Saturday, July 19, 2008 in Logan County. Individuals and groups will gather in DeGraff for early in the morning for a light snack, a safety briefing, group assignments, and then be off to one of half dozen locations in the county to canoe and walk sections of the river collecting trash and debris from the river and river banks. Groups are normally completed with each stretch of the river by noon and are returned to the park in DeGraff for clean-up, a great lunch, and a snappy T-Shirt. To get involved sign up on this website. Complete details will be sent to you in advance of the Clean Sweep. If you have questions call or contact the event coordinator, Mark Evans, at 599-1253, or through the Contact Us button on this website. The Clean Sweep is a great family activity. All participants must be at least 14 years old and we provide all the equipment to those who need it. Join us for a wet, fun, and at times beautiful journey down the river in Logan County.
