The Great Logan County Road Cleanup is underway. Family, business, civic, and youth groups are all taking part of cleaning trash from the roadways in Logan County, Ohio as part of the Great American Cleanup sponsored by Keep America Beautiful, Keep Ohio Beautiful, Keep Logan County Beautiful, and the Logan County Solid Waste Management District. Pictured left are Jeanie Weiskittle, Dave O’Brien, Kathy Robinson, Wes Mortimer, Bryan Jakeway, Pat Link, Joe Weisenberger, Tracy Baker, Daryl Pohlschneider, Brian Parsell, along with Karen Gerrard and Steve Phillip spend a morning working the roadways instead of working at AGC in Bellefontaine. AGC supported this highway clean-up effort as part of their commitment to a clean community and recycling.
These employees cleaned 4 miles of roadway along C.R. 32 and C.R. 11, near the AGC facility. Karen Gerrard, Brian Parsell
and Tracy Baker are pictured deftly handling a grabber and ready to wade into the wetlands to recover trash blown from the highway.
Over 60 groups containing more than 600 volunteers have registered to participate in this event to date.
