“THE GREAT LOGAN COUNTY ROAD CLEANUP” Nets $2,500 Grant
March 17, 2008 on 10:26 am | In Adopt-A-Road, Grants, Litter Cleanup, Logan County, Solid Waste District | 1 CommentThe Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Recycling & Litter Prevention made funding available for 2008 highway litter cleanup campaigns. Grant applications were competitive with maximum funding for any group set at $2,500. Logan County Solid Waste Management District laid plans last year for an expanded road cleanup effort this spring. Called “THE GREAT LOGAN COUNTY ROAD CLEANUP!!”, teams are being organized to pickup litter along 2 mile stretches of roadway throughout the county during April and May. Adopt-A-Road groups will be included in this effort. Grant funds will pay for supplies, equipment, and marketing the campaign. Teams are currently being formed and given assignments.

I was just wondering if Adam’s Ski Shop was ever going to clean up their section of Snow Valley Rd. (township 291). I would hate to see the county come in to mow and turn an already lot of trash in to a larger mess.
